this year went by too fast. I’m a sophomore in college and i didn’t even get time to stop and feel what its like to be a freshman 😦
But happy that in another two years I’ll be able to go back to my country.

I used Photoshop and Illustrator to create this image ^_^
I used Sumo Paint http://www.sumopaint.com/home/ to create this image.
What I like about this site is that its almost like Photoshop. You can find all of the tools we have in Photoshop in this site.
To create something you just have click ” Open Sumo Paint” at the top of this site.
If you have never heard or tried this site you should go and see. I bet you will love it just as much as I love it.. ^_^

duplicated this cover of the cereal box by using Illustrator
I t was very easy for me to recreate this because this picture had less complicated images.
I picked this mainly because this was my first recreation from Illustrator and I thought to start off with a simpler one.
I must say, the pen tool so helpful to create these kinds of images.

But the images which are shown below are some of my drawings which I redrew using Adobe Illustrator.
I used the pen tool to redraw these images from the Illustrator. I must say the pen tool was like a magic pen which helped me to draw. Its the most easiest tool I have ever used to draw in computer……. ^_^
Pick any image that you like to work on. ( I used one of my pictures.)
Make sure that you apply your image in a new layer so that your first layer would be white.
Filter- Artistic- Cutout….. (The cutout filter will simplify the image into a few levels of value. Find the best values for your image so that the image is simplified yet still recognizable.) ^_^
Then set the master opacity for the layer in the layer, up to 40%( any amount which would make you image lighter)
Create a new document (File>New) in a size that’s smaller than your photo: the specifics don’t really matter. Press D to set the Foreground color to black. Use the Type tool (T) to type several different words in various fonts and sizes (in this case we used a person’s name). One at a time, draw a selection around each word with the Rectangular Marquee tool (M), and from the Edit menu, choose Define Brush Preset. Name each brush in the Brush Name dialog and click OK.
In your original picture, Click new layer in the bottom of the layer and in the Brushes panel (Window>Brushes), click on the words “Brush Tip Shape” and start to print the words which you typed step by step (use different layers for each of the colors of the faces ). For colors you could used the same colors as the image by using the eyedropper tool or else you could use black, gray and white.

I used filters in Photoshop to create this images
The first one which I did was in my sketch book.
I kinda took some sketches of the images which I wanted to include in my final piece.
The the other three images I colored it using http://www.onemotion.com/flash/sketch-paint/ Then I used Photoshop to give them the black out lines.
I need to do some more, I am not happy with this outcome, its still in progress….
